Decision on An Agency
Wow, Vickie is allowing me to post now! Vickie and I have had a couple days to digest all the information that we learned in the seminar on Saturday. We had discussed sitting down and talking to another adoption agency here in Indiana but decided that would probably give us basically the same information that we got on Saturday. We were both comfortable with the Adoption Support Center (ASC) so we decided we wouldn't really be gaining anything by going through another seminar, so we picked up the phone this afternoon and called the ASC to get the process rolling. We have our initial interview scheduled with the agency on the 19th of this month and will be completing the required adoption class on March 14th. I think that having these dates actually set makes the process much more real to me which is both wonderful and just a little scary at the same time. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers and we'll keep you all informed as the meetings and classes occur.

Wow, when you set your mind to something, you don't waste anytime. Congratulations to the both of you. I look forward to reading your posts to keep us updated on the progress of your adoption.

Vickie and Tom,
I've read all three blogs now through a scratched cornea. I am very excited for both of you(and for me also)!! You know I've been praying for God to give you a child in whatever way He thoght was best for you. This has to be the beginning of the answer to my prayers(many rosaries). I will accept and love whomever Goc sends to you. And like Jeff said, this is private between the two of you. Yes family is part of it, but don't feel you have to "tell all". I guess I have many more rosaries to pray.
