I went to my Dr. appt. today for a "meet and greet". While I was in the office I discussed with the nurse practitioner about Tom and I adopting and that the only real thing left holding us back from becoming active was having my physical. Guess what? I had it done today!!! She asked to see my physical form, which I'm very thankful that I thought to take it just in case, and she's like, "Oh, we can do most of this right now." I was thinking: YEAH!
Anyway I had all of my blood drawn, which I'm surprised Tom and I have any left after all they had to take. I also got all of my other tests done and the physical is complete. The agency already has Tom's form and hopefully I'll have mine by the beginning of next week. The agency will be discussing us on Monday so it'll be really nice to be able to have most of our paperwork in by next week.
We're just so excited that most of the steps on our part are now completed. I had to share it with you!

YAY, YAY, YAY!!!!!!
Just remember, the more people you tell about the adoption, the more leads you might get!!!!
CHECK---one more thing done!
Wow!!!! A lot has happened in a very short time.
Tell everyone that you know about your decision, and hopefully the right ears and heart will find you and make you and Tom the parents of a great child.
