Doctor appointment & final preparations

I had a doctor appointment last week and I know the information is now outdated, but I thought I'd post it anyway. Basically, things are still going well. The baby's heartrate was again at 144. Everything else was good. I have been given a good bill of health, as far as my blood pressure, swelling, diet, etc. I did lose a couple of more pounds, but no one at the office seems to be too concerned, so I'm not going to worry either. As of today I have 11 days left until my due date so things are winding down. For all of those interested in the baby's approximate size I asked the doctor what he thought. He told us approx. 6lbs. 12oz., but that it was just a guess and only fish are born with scales. :-)

I have another doctor appointment on Tuesday of this week and they'll begin checking me to make sure I'm not dilated etc. It should prove to be an interesting appointment.

Tom has been putting some finishing touches to the baby items to complete preparations. We have the swing put together as well as the pack and play. We also have the crib put together and a video monitor hooked up to it and the mobile. The carpet is put down on the floor. I've put some pictures up so that you can enjoy the preparations. I haven't taken a final picture yet of the nursery because the letters we purchased still need to be painted and there are a couple of small things yet to be done.
