I didn't realize it had been so long since our last post. Things here have been moving fast, at least as far as the everyday stuff goes. School is back in session and so far so good. The students now know that I am pregnant, I think most of them suspected it before I actually told them, and seemed very understanding. Some were excited and some just wanted to know when I'd be gone (I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing). :-D
I haven't really had time to think about the pregnancy much because I've been so busy trying to work through the school year. We've been in school about 8 days and I feel like I'm still just treading water. I'm sure it'll take a while to adjust being in a classroom again after 2 years of not, but I didn't remember it being this much work. I'll get through it though-one day at a time.
As far as the pregnancy goes, I've got 20 weeks left. It's going so fast, especially now that I have other things I'm busy working on (school). I haven't felt the baby move (at least I don't think I have) but I haven't had a lot of time to just sit and focus either. Our next appointment is September 2. I'm hopeful that the test results have come back okay and everything is fine. I have discovered, if I haven't had it before, I definitely have the body shape of a pregnant woman. I'm very happy of that! I no longer look like I'm just fat-now I'm fat with a purpose! :-)
I've been feeling pretty good. I still have issues in the morning, but that may be with me through the entire pregnancy and I'm starting to get used to it, unfortunately. Otherwise I think it's safe to say that my appetite has come back and besides the extra weight I'm feeling really good.
I've been keeping you on hold about Tom and the good news is official, he's been promoted. Instead of being Distance Education Coordinator he is now Director of Distance Education. It means quite a bit more responsibility for him (and added duties), but it all goes with the job he now has.
Until September 2, that's all for now. I'll post again when we have our next doctor visit. Keep the postitive thoughts and prayers coming this way.

Just kidding, it's not like you don't have anything to do :) I can't believe you are 1/2 way through your pregnancy already. I am sure your appointment will be fine. By the way, your are not FAT, by any means!!!! :(
CONGRATULATIONS TOM ON THE BIG PROMOTION!!!!
See you Monday,
Lynnette
Vickie!!!! How exciting!!! I am so sorry that I have not posted, but I had book marked an actual post of yours instead of the blog and didn't realize that you had been posting all summer. Congratulations on the baby! I could not be more excited for you. Between you and Rett, I have hope that I will someday get to be a mom!
YAY! Isn't pregnancy nice? You can actually measure when you're 1/2 way there!!!! Adoption, um, not so much!
Congrats to Tom! You two have LOTS of exciting things going on this year!!! What a ride! Enjoy it!
I've bought my first Baby A gift!!
And it was the highlight of my Thursday night Browns game. Before the game I went to the team shop and bought a set of 2 pairs of baby booties, size 0-3 months. My first grandchild had to have something for the team GG loves so much(yes, even when they lose).
Waiting on the Dr. report on Tuesday. I know everything is fine.
Love,
GG
