Baby Shower #1 was given by the 3 grandmas on October 25. It was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed seeing the outfits that people gave Baby Avery and knowing that Tom and I will have a little one to put in them. I can't wait! The cake was very cute and it was fun to see people that I hadn't seen in a while. We played 2 games: using a string to figure out how big I was and the clothespin game (when you cross your legs someone could take your clothespin from you). They were pretty fun too!

This grandma was very happy to be a hostess for this first shower for my first grandbaby!! You certainly received many nice gifts for the soon-to-be Baby A and even more good wishes. I am so glad I could help to start to get Baby A outfitted.

Best wishes that you make through all of the classes before you have Baby Avery!! But nothing can prepare you for all the changes you will go through. Physically, mentally, and finacially. They are all worth it in the long run. Don't dwell on it and enjoy every moment. Remember this is a miracle, don't waste precious moments worrying, just breath and enjoy!
