There have been quite a few things going on. Collin has had his first bath. He didn't seem to mind it to much and was calm after it was over. (Buddy, our puppy, had his first bath too.) Collin has also had his first shots (today). I wasn't there for them because I had my appointment that I needed to go to. I was informed by Daddy that he cried when he was getting them, but fell asleep shortly thereafter. I feel badly that I missed the first ones; I worried about him the entire time I was gone. Collin was at the doctor today for his 2 month checkup. He once again got a clean bill of health. He weighs 12 pounds and has grown another inch, 23 inches. He is 50% in height and 75% in weight (it could be reversed-I don't remember). Either way he is doing great. My checkup was also good. My scar looks normal and the doctor signed my release form to return back to school. I begin back March 2, which brings us to the next item-a babysitter.
We have an interview with someone on Monday at 4:30. She currently has two 9 month olds, one is hers. I'm not sure if she is watching other children besides the 9 month olds, but we will see. She seems very nice on the phone and isn't too far away from our house so she is very convenient. I can't imagine doing this though. It is going to be so difficult.
Collin has been busy partying since our last post. He has been to his first Super Bowl party and his first Valentine's Day party. We hosted a Super Bowl party for our family and was very disappointed the Cardinals didn't win-sorry Grandpa. :-( We also took Collin to my school to help my class celebrate Valentine's Day. Collin even took Valentine's. :-D This weekend we are going back home to celebrate Grandma Gray's, GG, birthday. I have so many lists going to help me pack it's unreal. We are not only taking the baby and ourselves, but also have to take the puppy. I think I have 3 lists that I'm trying to take care of. :-P
On a side note the puppy has gotten groomed for the first time and no longer looks like a puppy, but a miniature schnauzer instead. I think I like the puppy look better, but that's okay. He's still part of our family.
I think I've gotten you caught up. If I forgot anything I'll post it next time. We're really close to Collin's 2nd month birthday. It's hard to believe!

Yeah, Collin is coming home to celebrate his GG's ?? bday. It's been 3 weeks since I've seen everyone and I can't wait!! I know Collin has changed so much!! I'm also anxious to see Mommy and Daddy(and newly groomed Buddy). Hopefully, Collin's first restaurant birthday celebration will go well. GG will take care of him if he gets too fussy, so Mommy and Daddy can eat.
Leaving Collin the first day back to work will be the hardest. Believe me, Vickie, it'll get easier. You won't actually like it, but you'll handle it better with every day. The time you have with him will be just more precious. You know if Collin needs his GG, she'll be there.
Love,
GG
Awww, he's growing up and so nicely!!!
Hey, if you need another sitter idea, I will DEFINITELY pass on my sitter's name. She's awesome! A teacher that took a year of to stay at home w/ her kiddos! Let me know!
Congratulations on 7 1/2 hours, of course it won't be every night, but it should be getting easier. Either you get used to not sleeping or they sleep a little longer each night. It will be ok!
I can't believe he is 2 months old already! :0 I hope he had a good time at the parties.
See you soon when you come back to work!
