Happy Mother's Day!

Yesterday Mommy celebrated her first Mother's Day. I think she thought it was pretty special. Daddy went and got breakfast for her in the morning. I woke up at 7:00 to tell her Happy Mother's Day. I was pretty fussy yesterday because I was so excited about Mother's Day I didn't sleep very much! Mommy was very excited about the gift Daddy, Buddy, and I got for her. She got an iPod dock so she can listen to music from her iPod in the living room while she's cleaning the house. She doesn't get to do a lot of that now-I don't let her! :-D Then we went to a restaurant pretty far away, Daddy says it took 2 hours to get there, and met GG, Grampy Jeff, Grandma Avery, and Grandpa Avery for dinner. I think the restaurant was Italian place named Olive Garden (whatever that means). Anyway, it was really fun and I was so excited there that I didn't sleep at all. When we got in the car to come home though, I took 2 ounces of bottle and went right to sleep and slept the rest of the way home. The best part about yesterday was I got to eat cereal for the first time. Mommy was taking a lot of pictures and I'm not really sure what the big deal was. It's not like it tasted very good, but after a little while I was grabbing the spoon for more. (You would too if you were hungry).

I'm getting better at taking my medicine. Daddy waits until I'm hungry and then puts this shot looking thing in my mouth. It always makes me nervous at first, I'm not sure where that thing is going to go? :-P Then once it's in my mouth I think it's a bottle and start sucking on it and Daddy pushes the medicine in. I haven't spit any out with my tongue in a couple of days. I still have a cough and runny nose, but Mommy and Daddy know I'm getting better because I've been giving them really messy presents in my diaper. :-)

Mommy also wanted me to share with everyone that she is now a Longaberger consultant. She's doing this for me so any money she earns will go into my savings account for college. She has a link to her site on the left side under Links to Favorite Sites. It may not be up yet, but it will be soon.

I hope my grandma's and Mommy had a really nice Mother's Day and I also hope that if you are a Mom reading this, you had a good Mother's Day too. Since I'm posting this late-Happy Mother's Day!!!

This grandma was very happy to be part of Collin's Mommy's first Mother's Day and my first as a grandma!! Collin was a very good boy in the restaurant. He was so curious about what was going on. I think he was hoping for the server to give him something when he saw all those plates coming to our table.
Looking forward to celebrating Daddy's first Father's Day next month.
Keep taking your medicine like the good boy that you are. Once you get the hang of eating cereal, there will be more goodies for you to try.
Love,
GG

How cute Collin, I hope that your Mommy had a great day also. Keep up the great work in eating your cereal. It will make you big and strong.
