Where has August gone?

Our little guy is almost 8 months old. Time is flying right by. He is sitting up by himself, has 2 teeth (bottom-front), and is growing like a weed. Collin has tried some table food, although not much. Okay-really he's only tried some stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravy. The stuffing was a little salty, but by the third taste he liked it and of course he liked the mashed potatoes and gravy. He takes after his Mommy! :-P

We had a doctor appointment at Clarion North for Collin. He is going to have to have surgery, which we already knew and it is scheduled for September 14. Daddy and I are very nervous, but his doctor assured us that it is a routine surgery, for them. Please keep this date in your prayers.

Please say some prayers as Collin's grandma is still sick and in the hospital and doesn't seem to be improving. She has good days and bad days, but overall her health isn't good. Also a good friend of ours has been diagnosed with cancer and we're unsure about her prognosis. Please pray for her and her family.
