Poor, Collin!

This is a post I didn't have time to post. So it is old. Collin is well on the mend and is doing better.

Collin has had his surgery and the procedure itself went well, but the post-op. hasn't been as well as what Mommy and Daddy have hoped. Collin and I have a new name for Daddy-Dr. Avery. (This is where the poor Collin comes from). Last night when Tom and I changed his diaper we noticed that his tube was slowly coming out. When we called the urologist on call the person told us to push it back in, which we did. Collin was screaming and crying-it was horrible for all of us! A couple of hours later we checked the tube and it was coming out again, this time more than it was before. Again, Tom called the doctor, this time the doctor that did Collin's procedure, and the doctor told Tom to try and push it back in. When Tom couldn't get the tube to go back in he called the doctor a third time and this time the doctor told him to just pull the tube out. Tom did and he seems to be a happier baby because of it. He's supposed to go back to the doctor on Monday for a check up and to get his other stitch out. Say some prayers!

***** Collin has since gone for his checkup and things are going well. The doctor said everything looked good. He is getting rather spoiled since he can't sit in his entertainer and is contained to sit in either the swing or high chair, or sitting on the floor. Otherwise he gets held by Mommy and Daddy. I think we're creating a monster! :-D
